Contacting the North American Climate Exchange

The NACX facilitated the first trades of Alberta SGER Offsets on its order matching platform in April, 2012. Beginning in March 2013, NACX will be posting new Alberta SGER Offsets and members will be able to conduct live offset trading through NACX. The NACX expects to post up to 800,000 verified and registered Alberta Offsets on its trading platform beginning in March and following through April and May, 2013. To facilitate requests to trade offsets on the exchange prior to the new electronic trading platform becoming available,  members will be able to trade by calling the number below and placing an order to an order representative. If you are not a member and want to buy or sell SGER Offsets or EPCs, the NACX is taking membership applications now either through our online registration process or by our prospective members calling or emailing us. Once the membership has been approved, new members will be provided with an account number and will be permitted to trade.

The NACX mission is to elevate the integrity and efficiency of offset trading and trading of ECU's by streamlining the process and reducing the risks to the participants.
